Zamboni, Lorenzo (Dr.)

Lorenzo Zamboni is Adjunct Professor at the University of Pavia, where he obtained his PhD in Archaeology with research on Spina. Since 2012 he has been co-director of the archaeological excavations at Iron Age Verucchio. His research covers a wide range of settlement, material, funerary, and theoretical aspects mainly concerning the human presence in Northern and Central Italy between the Final Bronze Age and the Roman period.

Zecchi, Marco (Dr.)

Marco Zecchi studied Ancient History and Egyptology at the University of Bologna. He received his M.Phil. from the University of Liverpool and his Ph.D. from the University of Bologna. In 2004.2006 Marco Zecchi held the postision of temporary lecture at the University of Sassari. Starting from 2007, he teaches Egyptology at the University of Bologna, where is associate professor.

His main research interests focus on the god Osiris, as well as on the religion of the Fayum region in the dynastic period.

Zeiler, Jørn (Drs.)

Jørn Zeiler (1955) studied biology in Groningen. He graduated in 1997 on a study of hunting and animal husbandry in the Netherlands during the Neolithic. He was a research fellow at the Biological-Archaeological Institute (the present Groningen Institute of Archaeology) in Groningen from 1984 until 1992, when he set up his own research bureau ArchaeoBone, in which he has since been working as a free-lance archaeozoologist.

Jeroen van Zoolingen studied Archaeology and Prehistory at Leiden University, with a specialization in provincial Roman archaeology. Since 2004 he has been employed by the Municipality of The Hague. He is author of several reports and articles on Roman archaeology in the western Netherlands

Ødegaard, Marie (Dr.)

Marie Ødegaard is an associate professor at the Museum of Archaeology, University of Stavanger, with a focus on Iron Age and medieval archaeology. Research interests include settlement archaeology, assembly sites and state formation processes. She is currently project leader of Viking Beacons – militarism in northern Europe, granted by the Research Council Norway (2021-2025).
